10-Aug-2003 -- The day after a successful visit to 41°N 90°W and after spending the night in Marshalltown, I went on the hunt for the nearby confluence. The previous evening I had gotten within a few kilometers of it so I knew it was close to the intersection of Iowa 330 and US 30. After a couple of dead ends I finally found the right gravel road that took me to within meters of the spot. The confluence is on the end of a corn field -- fortunate for me as the corn was taller than me and would have made a foray into it difficult.
I took my typical 4 directional pictures -- #1 is north, #2 is east (into the Sun), #3 is south, #4 is west (there's the cornfield!). Picutre #5 is of my GPS receiver.
