09-Apr-2004 -- We have been to the coast at Mangaratiba - the confluence is right in front of this city, in the sea, between the coast and an island called Ilha Grande and can be seen from land.
We will be back as there was not a suitable boat to take us to the spot at the moment.
Maybe our sea journey will start from another nearby city, called Itacuruçá.
LROA Brazil ( Land Rover Owners Association of Brazil ) is a group of Land Rover Owners with members scattered all over the country - the goal of this association is to promote the integration of it's members in a huge country as ours is, the interchange of technical information about Land Rovers, and, most of all, to congregate the members in trips of all kinds of amplitude ( from week end family trails; journeys to wild and distant places in Brazil and continental expeditions ).
Your project was a find of one of our members ( Guilherme Negraes ) and the visit to the "virgin" confluences within our reach may become one of the goals of LROA Brazil.
We will be back with the documents from 23°44° soon.
