09-Apr-2004 -- To locate this confluence I consulted a satellite picture from the region and observed that the confluence stayed in a clear area, indicating that to CP was in a plowed area, probably has easy access and stayed in the city of Salete.
We left Joinville-SC (240km from our destination) and took the highway BR470, and in the final stretch we opted for secondary roads, passing Ibirama, President Jetulio, Dona Ema and finally Salete. In Salete we perceive a small road apparently in a promising direction. On this point we were at 1,2km, some meters ahead we took a smaller road, access to a small farm at just 400m from the confluence. We asked permission from the landholder and climbed a small hill, at 200m from CP we needed to cross a small river with dense trees, and we arrived the confluence without big difficulties.
To CP stayed practically in the city of Salete (~2km of the center from the city), the city has approximately 8000 inhabitants; the region mainly produces pinus elliotis, chicken farm and a company that manufactures boiler for generation of energy and drying wood.
