17-Aug-2004 -- After visiting 47N 107E, I headed south-east, but found rain falling ahead of me. It was my first day of long-distance ride in Mongolia and getting dark, so I decided to stay night there. Preparing tent, wind is getting harder and rain starts falling. In bad weather, I managed to get in the sleep sack.

Next day. I need petroleum, which is called benzene in Mongolia, so headed to south and got it in Deren town. With full tank I headed to 46N 106E through Delgertsogt town. Along electric line to Tevsingovi, mine town, go west on rough earth road between hills(north) and marsh(south).

The confluence was located near the road. Taking photo there and left to the next confluence. On my way to a href="confluence.php?visitid=9233">47N 106E, I lost road and visited near ger and asked the way. There I was offered some meal.
