21-Feb-2000 -- President's Day. This is our second confluence project. The confluence, 39 north 86 west is located near Cortland IN and about 1000 feet south of county road 875 North along White Creek. We located the owner of the property and received permission to photograph the confluence. Bob Claycamp operates Lothill Dairy Farm. The Claycamp's milk around 100 cows and farm 500 acres in Jackson County. Photograph two is looking south from road 875 North where we parked. The confluence is located in the partially cleared woods beyond the field. As we were walking to the confluence, we were wondering what would be an interesting photograph. As we approached we saw the tire perched atop a stump at the actual confluence. The tire was probably put there to start a brush fire, unaware that it is the confluence. Picture three is looking southeast from the confluence. There are some farm out buildings in the far distance. Picture four is the obligatory GPS picture taken on a nearby stump. Picture five is of a log jam in nearby White Creek.
