20-Nov-2004 -- On our tour from Mandalay to Bagan via Meiktila we used the road from Mt. Popa / Kanzazkon to Thaungzin. Turned left on the junction to Bagan back to Kyaukpadaung. After 500 metres turned right a small country road and parked our car at a school.

Fortunately we have got a pick-up by a friendly chinese driver with his 4x4 Toyota. He was going to his drilling company nearby. Around 1,5 km later we passed the train road to Bagan. Turned to the left and crossed a big dry riverbed (creek). We had to walk the last 300 metres straight through a field and found 21N 95E close to a big palm tree just before the sunset!
