Dropping coins on the line is said to show where your life will go. geocaching [13-Dec-00] A lot of people are aware of the demise of Selective Availability, which means that GPS devices just got a lot more accurate. This is great news for us, and means that new projects like Geocaching can be accurate enough to work. Next confluence you visit, leave a cache! royal greenwich observatory [13-Dec-00] Two confluence hunters visit the Royal Greenwich Observatory (where the Greenwich Meridian, 0 degrees longitude, was defined). It is not on an actual confluence point, but is included here due to the historical importance and its key role in defining longitude around the globe. |
