01-Jan-2007 -- The visit was made on the return leg of our journey from Masqaṭ to Dubayy. With a screaming 3-year-old in the back of the car, the stop was a welcome break, particularly as it was located approximately 700 m off the Nizwā-Buraymiy road.

We managed to take the car to within 280 m of the Confluence before the 3-year-old screaming became too much for us all. We walked the rest of the way and were greeted with a pleasant view to North of the Ḥajar Mountains, not far from Jabal Šams.

Like our visit to 24N 57E the kettle was boiled in celebration and we marked the location with a few small stones.
