#1: Confluence point close up

(visited by John Dag Hutchison and Aase Tveitan Hutchison)

12-Jan-2013 -- After an easy visit to 24N 56E we continued on the excellent highway No. 21 to `Ibriy where we stayed overnight in a hotel where we met three young Japanese archeologists who were doing preliminary studies for a dig in 3,000 - 5,000 years old ruins, probably in what earlier visitors called beehive ruins. The following morning we unfortunately forgot to visit them...

National highway No. 21 is being upgraded. We parked by the roadside and walked the few hundred meters to the confluence point. Just opposite the road from where we parked, a big team with bulldozers, truck, and other machinery were doing their work while casting glances at these foreigners who trotted into the wilderness for no obvious reasons.

Well, this confluence point was also too easy.

Continued at 24N 57E.
