(visited by Gordon Spence and Wojciech Czombik)

04-Apr-2008 -- This is the second of three visits that we are making over two days, having been yesterday to my "home" point of 52N 01W, it is time to go North East to straddle the Prime Meridian.

As yesterday I met Wojciech at Bedford railway station and we set off. A pleasant drive through the countryside soon saw us approaching Boston, skirting the outskirts we came to the CP the same way that I did last time.

To make it a bit more interesting I parked about 1/4 mile away and we walked in the point. Currently at this time there are no crops planted and the soil surface was fairly firm so we walked out to the exact point.

I demonstrated to Wojciech the flip-flop of the gps display between East & West while still showing all the zero's on the display.

As we walked back to the car I spotted an old abandoned piece of farm machinery, it has been quite a long time since this was ever used!
