05-May-2009 -- After spending 5 days in "The Orchard" Holiday park near Clacton on Sea, we had an appointment in Oxford. The confluence point was on the way and we decided to give it a try.
From Clacton on Sea to Colchester-London (A12) and then the M11 to Cambridge, the A505 to Royston and finally to Barkway and Reed. It was a nice drive on typical English country roads with high hedges on each side.
We parked the car near a Public Footpath and walked along fields and country houses. 1 km walking. Had a picnic and enjoyed nature and sun. We saw locals walking with their dogs. The confluence was in the middle of a field and we could walk on tractor tracks. We approached the point from the North.
