02-Jun-2001 -- There’s nothing of interest at 60N 13E unless you’re absolutely fascinated with spruce, pine trees and moose droppings. I was accompanied by two of my cousins, Johanna and Simon when I visited this confluence.
We were able to drive pretty close and had only a 300m. walk when we left the road. It was mostly uphill, sometimes a bit steep but not too challenging. Trees are rarely higher than a few meters and with a little patience there’s reasonable GPS-coverage.
The weather was fairly good with some sun and we reached the confluence a few minutes past one o’clock. We celebrated with eating apples and after taking the necessary pictures we returned without any incidents. The most memorable thing was the beautiful stream we passed walking up and down.
