#1: The confluence point lies in a cow paddock

23-Dec-2012 -- My previous attempt to visit this confluence point - almost 13 years ago - was incomplete because the row of houses just to the east of the point blocked my way. This time, however, I realized (as did Shane Gerrish in April 2010) that I could bypass the houses by starting a bit further north up the road. A farm gate at this point took me behind the houses, and then onto the pasture that contains the confluence point. A group of curious kangaroos greeted me as I approached the pasture, and then ran away as I got close.

The confluence lies in farmland, just south of a small pond.
