10-Jan-2002 -- Today I happened to be driving west to Grande Prairie,AB and the confluences along the route are bekconing. The GPS quickly guided me to longitude 115 00 000W on Highway 18, about 0.65 Km north of the confluence. From there a brisk walk along an old road and through an aspen forest in a horse pasture got me to my goal.

My pictures reveal the winter scenery at the confluence, quite a contrast to the summer photos.
