08-Jun-2022 -- I've been meaning to visit this easy confluence in the Chicago Suburbs for a while. Driving between two friends' houses (Wheaton, Skokie) put us on the path. It was pouring rain and 61°F at 1:06pm when my wife parked the rental car on Brantwood Ave. in Elk Grove Village; I got out and zeroed out by the side of the road in one minute. I then got the requisite photos and back into the car. A woman two houses to the west was reading a book on her patio on this rainy Wednesday, another great pastime. Besides her, I saw no one.
This was the easiest confluence I've ever done, and I fear it might be my only one this year with two kids and a vacation calendar running thin. See ya in 2023, Kansas (or Nebraska, or Utah)!
