08-May-2021 -- This was another revisit - this time to a Degree Confluence Point that I had previously visited almost 8 years ago. Last time I approached the point from the West. This time I approached the point from the South, starting at the small town of Bancroft. This is the approach that I would recommend if you want to minimize driving on unpaved roads. This route is also especially scenic, as it passes by a wetland. En route, I saw sand hill cranes, and a bald eagle.

The Degree Confluence Point lies in a large sagebrush-filled meadow, just next to a narrow doubletrack road. I could have driven right up to the point if I’d wished (instead, I parked about 100 yards away). The partially snow-covered hills to the West were quite scenic, and I flew my drone in that direction to get a closer look. (My previous visit - 8 years ago - was two weeks later in May. At that time, the hills to the West had no snow at all.)
