20-Jul-2005 -- This was one of the easiest confluences I have ever found. I started out from my parents house outside of Albany and took Route 32 south. I stayed on Route 32 until I got to 31 which is Old Kings Highway. I followed that road until I identified the field containing the confluence point with the GPS. I drove past, turned around, and then parked off the side of the road. There was plenty of room to get the car completely off the road. I then walked to the field and quickly found a break in the barbed wire. At this point I was a little over 200 feet from the confluence. The field was very over grown with tall weeds and pretty purple flowers. It looks like it has not been touched in years. I found a small stream running into the field, and followed that so I didn't have to walk through the tall weeds. The confluence point was not far from the stream. I was amazed how quickly I was able to zero in on the confluence point. It took less than a minute. I then did my usual confluence chores. I took a picture of the GPS with all zeros and then took pictures noth, south, east and west. After that it was back to the car for the drive back to my parent's house.
