12-Aug-2006 -- After a long "Woodbadge" Staff meeting for The Boy Scouts of America in Gila Bend, AZ, I decided I would finally enter the world of strange and wacky confluence dancers. This was my first "all zero" moment and I must admit it was pretty quiet out there in that corn field all by myself. (Note: I noticed that the field had corn instead of cotton as in past visits.) No cheers from a roaring crowd to congratulate me on my first confluence. I had only been where four others have already trod. The other visitors give a great description of the area and how to get there. I will just add a few photos and say that it can be awfully hot out there in that field in mid-August. Enjoy! (I thought my 1911 45ACP pistol would add some drama to an otherwise boring "zeros" photo.)
