16-Nov-2001 -- I visited this confluence with some co-workers during a lunch break while attending training meetings in Phoenix. It was 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It was the first confluence for my friends. They seemed to enjoy it a lot, especially the "confluence dance."
The spot was very easy to get to. It was next to a cement-lined ditch near the edge of a cotton field. The cotton had been harvested and the plants cut back. I admit I know nothing about cotton production. The plants appeared to be something like rose bushes that grow back in the spring after being cut back.
A very large, four-wheel-drive, eight-tired tractor was pulling some type of implement through the field. It was about 200 meters away from us, but stopped while we were there.
It was a great day!
