03-Mar-2007 -- Hello, I am in the Sudan to make a geodetic network for the implantation of dams on the Nile. I saw on an old British map that this confuence point was not far from the road. In fact this point is near the city of Barbar, at 300 m from a new asphalt road.

It's harder to travel in the Sudan than to find this easy point.

Coordinator's Note: This confluence visit is registered as "incomplete" because of the selection of submitted photos. Unfortunately, the visitor did not know of the DCP Photo Requirements when he made his first confluence visit, and did not take more photos.

This Confluence is only 1.3 km east of the Nile River.
