13-Apr-2007 -- It is the first point of Stefano who generated an idea to visit CP sited in 40 km off his home. We started our journey at 6am after the neat reconnaissance of the route: use US 50 five kilometers to the North-West from Paris, then to the South via Wildcat Hollow Rd. to the end of Lakeview Dr. and 1 km walk through the forest, thorny bushes and springs. In two hours after the trip beginning we reached the place. It took fifteen minutes more to get zeroes in coordinates due to uncertain GPS operation under trees canopy. Many advert articles were published about benefits of GLONASS, GALILEO, WAAS, L2C, L5 etc. but still you can not get reliable position even at the high place of spring forest. After successful visit we had complementary breakfast at the cozy Ashby Inn restaurant served by hospitable Natasha from Ukraine. And by 11am we finished our trip at the office.
