31-Jul-2007 --
With my Upper Midwest vacation nearing its end, I was in a hurry to get back to Chicago before the end of the day, so I had to start restricting myself to confluence points that were "low-hanging fruit". This confluence point certainly qualified - it was just south of the Blue Water Highway, east of the town of Ionia, Michigan.
The confluence point itself lies just within a cornfield. I was able to get within 83 feet, but - with the farmhouse nearby - I did not want to venture into the cornfield to reach the exact point.
