19-May-2017 -- After visiting 43N 84W we continued west along M-21 on our drive towards Muskegon and the ferry to Milwaukee. The CP lies about 250 metres south of the road in a field behind the poultry farm noted earlier. It still looks new.
The area behind the buildings is now a tree nursery for Christmas trees, so I guess the point will get lightly harder to visit over the next few years until the trees are harvested although there should be plenty of space between the rows.
I parked just north of the confluence and walked along the field margin just west of the buildings. This gives very easy access to the point.
Kate stayed in the car and so did not qualify as a visitor to this point. As I was returning to the car the householder from across the road drove out and kindly checked that Kate did not need any help - I would assume that people do not often park in that spot. Also an irrigation contractor came in as I was going back out. He did not stop. I assumed he was checking up on the drip irrigation system for the nursery.
Very quick visit and no excitement!
