24-Jun-2007 -- Having spent the past three days at a square dance festival in Milwaukee, Cheryl and I were on our way back home to Virginia. We had just visited a geodashing point less than 10 miles west of 41N 88W and were traveling east on County Road 3400 N. We stopped a short distance (200 yards) past 700E at 88W. The confluence was only about 10 yards south of us in a soy bean field. The ground was wet, so I accumulated a layer of mud on my tennis shoes as I stepped carefully over the rows of bean plants, now about a foot tall, to the point at which my GPSr indicated zero (photo #5). Photos #1 (to the south), #2 (to the west), #3 (to the east) and #4 (to the north) all show lots of soy beans. I returned gingerly back to the road, knocked as much mud as I could off of my shoes, and continued our eastward journey.
