23-Mar-2007 -- After some days of hard labour, cutting trees at a camping of friends of us, we travelled from Mayenne (F) to Bretagne (F). 48° N 1°W was more or less on our way so we decided to go for it.
Passing Laval to La-Maison-Neuve by the D124 we entered the D32 direction St-Poix. Turned right in L’Hommeau direction Beaulieu-sur-Odon. A small road to the left brought us to the farm La Vannerie and parked at the pond under the willow. Walking through a tractor trail we reached the DCP within 23m without any damage to the crops. Once again I found a DCP in the middle of an agricultural field. In the main picture the DCP is about the dark spot.
The N, E, S, W photographs show the extension of the field and some trees surrounding the field. Related to image #6 by Geoportail the field is clearly extended to the West and the row of trees parallel to the last section of the track is vanished. Visitor #2 entered the field from the North, he took the road to another farm: La Bucherie
One of the trees in the South is full of mistletoe. The West-East part of our track follows a little river with typical plants of such an ecosystem.
My collection of plants show the typical flowers of early spring; note also the wetness of the plants. It was not only wet but cold too.
