14-Jul-2009 -- From Tromsø, I took the bridge West to the island of Kvaløy, and then continued North, taking the tunnel crossing to the island of Ringvassøy. Just South of Hansnes, I took highway 302 west, towards the confluence point. This road passes 2.8 km East of the confluence point; however, a lake, and then a river (flowing from the lake) blocked the way. I was prepared for a 5+ km round-trip hike, but I was not prepared for a river crossing, so I decided to give up on this confluence attempt.
If you want to avoid getting your feet wet, then you might be able to reach this confluence point from the South, but that would require more driving, and perhaps more hiking as well.
