18-Jul-2009 -- One of the nice things about visiting a confluence point above the Arctic Circle in Summer is that you don't have to worry about it getting dark. I visited this confluence point at 11pm - my latest visit ever. There was, however, one big drawback - the mosquitos were especially ferocious at this time of the evening. Fortunately, though, this is a very easy confluence point to visit; it requires just a 100m hike each way from a road on the outskirts of the town of Kautokeino.
The confluence point lies on mossy ground, with thinly-spaced trees all around.
