22-Jul-2009 -- Wow - that was easy! The confluence point was just 120 meters South of a paved road. As is common for this part of the world, the confluence point lies on spongy mossy ground, amongst thinly spaced trees. Even the insects weren't particularly bad - there were lots of them, but for once they were all flies, not mosquitos.
After this visit, I drove back to Tromsø to end my vacation in northern Norway. It was a very successful vacation; I successfully visited 5 confluence points (with 4 'incomplete'). My only real regret is wimping out on my attempt to visit [70,19]. In hindsight, I should have taken my shoes off and at least attempted the river crossing.
