25-Oct-2009 -- This is my first confluence visit, and I made life easy for myself and made it my local confluence.
It is Sunday morning and I left home at 8:20am approx. I went armed with my new Garmin Dakota 20, my camera & my printout from Google maps. I am still learning how to put my GPS to best use, and this was a very good proving ground.
The confluence was very easy to visit, parked by the side of the road approached from the Shelford-Teesdale road, and heading towards Meredith. A quick hop over a low fence and an amble about 100m into a paddock with low scrub and ancient trees. Arrived at 9:17am.
A very satisfying mornings work and can't wait for the next one.
