20-Apr-2010 -- Leaving London Ontario for a visit to Niagara with my daughter I decided to detour via the point. I had intended to visit it before but not quite got round to it. As a last minute decision I did not have the previous visitor's information so it was a true hunt - although I remembered that it was not too difficult.
We turned off the 403 West of Hamilton onto highway 6. After a few miles down highway 6 we turned off left onto the 3rd line and then parked near 80E.
The walk was just a few hundred metres across ploughed fields. There were some wet patches but after a relatively dry winter it was not bad going. There is a fence/hedge near the point with a sign post for an oil pipeline and then another 50 metres to the point. After returning to the car we headed south and then east along highway 3 toward Niagara.
