27-Feb-2010 -- Heading north for a 3 week vacation up into the north of Sweden and down south via Norway back to Hamburg, we pack our car with sleeping bags, clothes for cold days on dog sledges and Nordic skis for a one week tour along the "Peer Gynt" trail. Travelling this way gives us the opportunity to stop by a confluence and intensely feel being out in the country while on holiday.

After our first night in the car we just had to cross a country road, put on our skis and "walk" through a small forest and reed zone to arrive at the confluence. It is very close to the shore of the lake, in summer time you will get wet feet.

Thanks to a long and cold winter we found an almost frozen surface and were able to locate the exact point. The most difficult activity was to find an adequate position for our camera to take a picture, both of us on it at the same time. We used our ski sticks to create a tripod. The atmosphere was kind of mysterious with some fog lying on the lake, a sky having the same color as the snow covered lake and no sound to be heard.
