14-Sep-2010 -- My first confluence visit, although it must be admitted that the main reason for my visit was the geocache that has been placed at the exact same spot recently. The geocache should guarantee a lot of visits in the future.
I parked my car in Skytterveien in Stavern, from where it is about 950 meters to the confluence as the bird flies. I walked along a pathway until I was about 250 meters away, and began bushing my way through the forest and small cliffs. About 60 meters from the confluence, I ended up in front of a 15 meter vertical mountain wall, and had to follow this southwards for 30-35 meters until I found a place suitable for climbing. From here the confluence was easily reached.
As earlier visitors have pointed out, this confluence has a very scenic view as well, and as the weather today was very good, I had a nice walk up to the point.
