14-Jan-2012 -- Damo. and I headed out to this confluence - one of the most accessible in the region - while out on a day of exploring.
The day is quite wet and this made the walk in tricky, as there are many dirt tracks used by trail bike riders and 4x4 drivers, which quickly turned into sticky mud.
The maze of tracks that head east from Heathcote Road (a walk of about 300 metres) leads you to within 25 metres of the confluence, whereby it is a fairly simple bush bash to GZ.
Judging by previous photos not much has changed in the area. There is some evidence of a fire in the past few years, but there has been a lot of regrowth since.
