21-Окт-2012 – В субботу 20 октября 2012 года я отправился на очередную охоту за пересечениями. В этот раз моей целью было посещение точек 50°N 27°E и 50°N 28°E.

На региональном электропоезде я добрался от Киева до станции Шепетовка, расположенной в Хмельницкой области. Распаковал на вокзале велосипед и отправился на нем к первой намеченной точке 50°N 27°E, которая находится примерно километрах в 20-ти на юг от Шепетовки. Так как уже был поздний вечер и было совсем темно, покорение точки было запланировано на следующее утро.

После сытного ужина с горячим чаем у костра я расположился на ночлег в палатке на окраине лесного массива. Ночью ко мне в гости приходил ежик. Он съел все колбасные очистки, оставшиеся от ужина, а затем долго пыхтел и шуршал сухой листвой вокруг палатки, видимо требуя добавки. И еще громко кричала какая-то ночная птица, расположившись на ветке дерева прямо над палаткой. Пришлось громко «попросить» птицу убраться прочь. Птица все поняла и оставила меня в покое. :)

Утро следующего дня было туманным и сырым. Быстро позавтракав приготовленным на газовой горелке горячим кофе с бутербродами, сложив палатку и упаковав вещи я отправился к слиянию, расположенному неподалеку посреди убранного кукурузного поля.

На фотографиях предыдущего посещения видны вековые ели в лесу (вид на запад), от которых теперь остались только голые пеньки. Отсняв все необходимые виды я отправился далее к точке 50°N 28°E.

21-Oct-2012 – On Saturday, October 20, 2012 I set off on a confluence hunt. This time my goal was to visit the confluences 50°N 27°E and 50°N 28°E.

By the regional electric train I got from Kiev city to Shepetovka station, located in the Khmelnitsky region. I unpacked the bike at the train station and started cycling to my first target, 50°N 27°E, which is located about 20 kilometers to the south from Shepetovka. So it was already late in the evening and it was quite dark, the conquest the CP was scheduled for the following morning.

After a hearty dinner with hot tea by the fire I settled down for the night in the tent at the forest edge. At night a hedgehog visited me. He ate all the sausage peelings left after the dinner, and then puffed and rustled with dry leaves around the tent for a long time, apparently requiring some supplements. And some night bird loudly shouted, sitting on a tree branch directly above the tent. I had to “ask” loudly this bird bugger off. Bird understood everything and left me alone. :)

The next morning was foggy and damp. I used a gas burner to prepare a hot coffee, and then quickly had a breakfast (coffee & sandwiches). After that I packed the tent and other belongins and set off to the confluence, which was in the middle of a nearby cornfield.

On the photographs of previous visit one can see age-old spruces in the forest (west view), and now only bare stumps remained after those grove. I photographed all the necessary views and then rode to the next confluence 50°N 28°E.
