10-Jul-2013 -- Continued from 50N 9E.

Three of the four confluence points in the 49N-50N, 8E-9E rectangle lie in forest; however the northwestern-most of these points lies in the back yard of someone's home, in a town near Wiesbaden. Walking along Johannesberger Strasse - a quiet residential street - I was able to get about 17 meters (+/- GPS error of 3 meters) West of the point.

In a small park - on the street just to the North - there's a 'globe' statue with a sign noting (in German) that the confluence point lies about 80 meters to the South.
