One thing that I'm learning from my vacation in Germany is that the country grows a lot of wheat. For the third time, I've visited a German confluence point that's inside a wheat field.
From the A7 Autobahn north of Hamburg, I exited and backtracked through the pretty little town of Großenaspe, and took a country road that passed just 300 meters east of the confluence point. At this point there was a farm track, heading westward directly towards the point. I parked at the junction of this track, and walked straight along it, almost directly to the confluence point. For a while, I was scared that the point might lie in a ditch, but instead it lay inside a wheat field, just short of the ditch.
