18-Nov-2013 -- I headed southwards from 32S E116 on road 20 and turned left just after Wagerup and Yarloop following the signs pointing to Lake Brockman, the dam mentioned by other visitors.
The dam contained almost no water. The graveled road towards the confluence point gradually turned into something my Corolla did not like and certainly would not have mastered in wet weather. It was difficult to get a good reading on the GPS, and even more difficult to get a photo of the reading when it displayed zero. So I had to settle for 1 meter even if I saw the zero in short moments.
On the way out of the forest the light fell on the remaining water in the dam and gave it an unusual light blue colour.
