A 2 week hoilday in Sweden gave me the opportunity to visit
a CP I had not yet visited. We were staying with friends near
Hällevadsholm and after adding N59 E12 to my Tom Tom device found it was only a 70km drive. So I set off with Magnus (the son of our host) for an easy drive to the CP.
Following the instructions of the Tom Tom, we turned off
the paved road a few kilometers from the CP and drove down a dirt track. Passing a few small houses we parked the car about
170 metres from the CP.
We followed what looked like a logging
track to the CP. On the way we spotted Elk tracks but none of
the animals themselves. Avoiding a few soggy patches on the track we arrived at the CP a few minutes later. The usual
photos were taken and we returned the same route back to the
car.
On the return journey we came across some rock carvings which
we took the time to go and look at - see the attached pictures.
