20-Mar-2016 -- This is my first trip to a confluence. There won't be any great narratives for me because I rarely seek them out. I wanted to teach my kids about latitude and longitude, so I thought it was a good way to show them what they were.

I was aware of this website years ago but never got around to finding one until today. We were introduced to this website from geocaching. Since there isn't one at these coordinates, we will more than likely get one out here and reference this website to introduce people to this website.

We parked on Riata Rd and hopped the tracks to grab this one. I was trying to walk onto coordinates instead of just following a waypoint. We jumped back and forth across the riverbed a couple of times trying to walk on. Once we crossed it so many times I just made a waypoint and we walked to it in less than a minute.
