16-May-2016 – We came from Russia, had just been to Kazbegi and wanted to visit Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, and the cave city Uplistsikhe. However, the weather was very bad and so we decided to go further directly to Gori and to reach the Confluence point from there.

As a precaution, we had written down (rather painted) the transfer points in Georgian characters on a piece of paper. All went well, we took a taxi in Gori, which brought us directly to Skra and took us up to the house.

The people in the houses seemed to be informed, they let us happily in her garden and so the needed photos were no problem. However, our muddy shoes were a problem, we did our best to clean it for the taxi.

In better weather, on our onward journey to Tbilisi, we visited the two really worthwhile attractions.
