23-Mar-2016 -- En route from Toronto to Gatlinburg, Tennessee I decided to divert to this point. As described in visit 4, the detour comprised a detour W and then S to rejoin interstate 75 which takes the direct SW route. This is one of the easiest of points to get to - unless you feel the need to line up all the zeroes.

As I had a long drive ahead I did not bother to go wading in the creek and settled for the view from the bridge - as had most previous visitors. After the March snow in Detroit the weather was now dry but cold. By the time we reached Tennessee the next day we had moved forward from to spring with many trees in leaf.

Kate has visited a few points with me before but the others on this visit are new to the game - probably their first and last visit!
