13-Sep-2001 -- Today I followed in the Stamms' footsteps, the prior visitors to this DCP. I found the same one-lane bridge over Riley Creek.

I wasn't intending to wade, but still I descended to the creek bank to see how close to the spot I could get.

I succeeded in obtaining an integer reading by standing as close to the water as I could get (and still keep my feet dry) and then extending my arm.

The view to the West shows a flag at half staff in honor of the victims of the September 11 tragedy.
