13-Mar-2018 -- This is the last out of 4 reports reaching confluence points during a 4-day cycling trip from Lisbon to Seville. The story starts at 38°N 8°W and continuous from 38°N 6°W.

Unfortunately it was a bit too tight with the time to visit this confluence by bicycle before my return flight was going to take off in the afternoon at 5 PM from Seville. Therefore I cycled from the previous confluence point 38°N 6°W to my destination Seville.

Having arrived in Seville in the eve, I had the choice to go sightseeing in Seville for the remaining half day or to visit this confluence by car. Spontaneously I walked in a car rental and got a very good deal. I cramped my bicycle in the Fiat 500 and shortly after I was on my way. Since driving in the darkness is less fun, I spent the night in Fuentes de Andalucía just outside of Seville.

The next morning I drove around Cordoba, through the village Villaviciosa de Córdoba and parked at a distance of 2 km from the confluence point. Actually I could have driven further up to a distance of 800 m, but I felt like hiking after a lazy drive.

For the last 800 m the track got wet and a little rough to walk. At a distance of 260 m I passed an abandoned farmhouse. The final leg was along an aisle probably used to prevent forest fires to spread all over.

The confluence itself is in a thicket with various bushes, oleander, and cork oaks. Due to the location on a hill there are good views in all directions. There is a fence just 5 m from the confluence point.

Well, the story ends basically end at this point. I returned to Seville via the very curvy road A-3075. At Seville I had problems finding a box for my bicycle, and if there hadn’t been an arriving biker from England, I would have been in real trouble. I used his tiny box for my bicycle and reached Zurich in the late evening.
