17-Apr-2018 -- This confluence point lies between Wilkerson and Stoneleigh Roads in NW Knoxville. It is an easy point to reach although I did manage to miss the small turn off the I40 onto the W25 and then had to allow my GPS to lead me through smaller streets. I followed the guidance of Woody Harrell (visit 3) and went straight to 5816 Wilkerson. The house is unchanged since 2006 (and 2016). The door was answered by an elderly lady who did not open the glass door to me. I tried to reassure her that I was not a threat and was not trying to sell anything. I explained the project but I don't think I did a very good job - my English accent and the strangeness of the DCP did not help getting the message across. In the end she said I was welcome to visit the back yard.

The zeroes registered quite easily when I got near the back of the well-maintained lawn and I was able to take the photos of the area and the GPS. A small dog in the next-door neighbour's took exception to my presence but its owner gave me a friendly wave.

All in all I was probably out of the car for less than 10 minutes before heading back to Gatlinburg to play more bridge.
