04-Mar-2001 -- In search of N36W84, we left Newport, TN for Knoxville, TN, a 60 mile trip. In Knoxville we traveled I-640 to Hwy 25W then turning west onto Merchants Rd Using our GPS we crossed N36 from there we turned right onto Wilkerson Rd for about half an hour we rode around a subdivison trying to get as close as we could. Finally at Stoneleigh Rd and Laramie Dr it was time to walk. We had found one confluence before in Parrottsville, TN which was a lot easier being in open fields and no fences. Subdivisons are entirley different all the houses are real close together and have fences around there back yards. After knocking on 4 doors for permission to go in there back yard, we located the confluence at 5809 Stoneleigh Rd, next to a metal storage building. We want to thank a young man on a skateboard for helping us, we tried to email Jakob but his address was not correct. Thanks, David and David.
