16-May-2018 -- I’m spending a few days vacationing in Kentucky - a state that I had previously spent very little time in. Of course, I hope to visit several Degree Confluence Points during my vacation.
I visited this first point (in neighboring Indiana) after staying the night in Florence, Kentucky (across the Ohio River from Cincinnati). I first visited the historic settlement of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky (on the Ohio River), and then crossed this river to enter Indiana. This Degree Confluence Point was not far away. It lies in a small farm, just 200 feet from a road. Unlike the previous 5 visitors, I didn't bother contacting the farm’s owners to try to reach the exact point; instead I took photos from the road, 200 feet away. This was still close enough to count as a successful visit.
