21-May-2018 -- Unless you’re a hard core Degree Confluence Point nerd - like I am - I don’t recommend visiting this point, as it has no redeeming features whatsoever. It lies within a boring patch of forest, with identical views all around. And the hike to the point - although short - involves hiking through thick vegetation across undulating terrain.
The two previous visitors started hiking from the houses to the northwest. Instead, I parked at a turnout at the corner of highway 93 and Paradise Hills Road - about 0.38 miles west of the point - and started hiking from there.
