05-Aug-2001 -- On a humid afternoon Dickie and I drove a little less than a hour to this location. This site is very close to Lake Barkley, a popular vacation area. There was no way to park the vehicle on the side of the narrow road so we pulled into a driveway and parked by a house. It just so happened that we had arrived at the land owner's home and after explaining our mission and getting the strange looks that many of us are use to, got permission to complete our mission.

The confluence was about 29 meters away in some very hilly woods. After walking about 15 minutes we found the spot about three quarters up the side of a ridge near a deer trail. We got our pictures, navigated back to the vehicle, thanked the owners and returned. A very enjoyable trip.
