10-Jul-2018 -- During the summer holidays direction Pyrenees I had the chance to visit some confluence points.
In the beginning of the trip we passed the region "Grand-Est" with the CP 47°N 5°E in it. From the autobahn A36 I took the exit direction Seurre. After passing this town and crossing the river La Saône, the GPS showed 12 km to go on streets, the most part of it on road D973. In the village Coberon I took the junction to the left and followed the road D2 direction south for about 700 m, until I reached the nearest point to the CP on road. But at this point was no dirt road to go. So I took the next possible dirt road direction east coming up and parked the car around 500 m from the tarred road.
From here the short walk of ca. 300 m was to begin. A tractor was harvesting straw on the field next to the already harvested "confluence field". After walking around a little trench, the GPS showed just 77 m to go on the field. I reached the exact location of the confluence 47°N 5°E and did the necessary pictures. It was very hot at 11:50 am. I think this visit took place under the highest temperatures, in comparison with the other six ones. The farmer on the tractor didn't take notice of me. Some cars passed by on the road.
This was a very easy visit because the location was plain und very well accessible.
