13-Июня-2019 – Продолжение после 51°N 13°E.

В этот день мы уехали из Парижа в сторону Мадрида на встречу с друзьями из Москвы. Торопиться было не надо, и я наметил к посещению пару французских пересечений.

Точка 48°N 2°E расположена в большом лесном массиве в 13 км к северо-востоку от центра Орлеана. Навигатор показывал, что можно подъехать на 150 м от точки, однако мне пришлось остановиться только в километре от цели, ибо после недавних обильных дождей дороги были влажные и грязные. Я пошёл пешком, сначала 700 м на запад, потом 550 м на север, затем ещё 150 м снова на запад. Просека на север была в хорошем состоянии, вдоль неё были сложены кучи лесного хвороста. На последнем участке движения на запад я встретил велосипедиста (Райнер Моуц писал, что там нельзя ездить), трава была невысокая но было грязно. От последней просеки до точки 80 м на север.

Это дистанция наиболее трудная, так как плотность деревьев ненормально высокая, что видно на фотографиях с конфлюентной точки. Спасало лишь то, что в этой сверхплотной посадке были некие прямолинейные разреженности (направлением запад–восток).

13-Jun-2019 – Here is the previous story: 51°N 13°E.

On this day, we left Paris in the direction of Madrid to meet our friends from Moscow. There was no need to hurry, and I planned to visit a couple of French confluences.

The confluence point 48°N 2°E is located in a large forest, in 13 km northeast from the center of Orleans. The navigator showed that one can drive 150 meters from the point, but I had to stop only a kilometer from the goal, because after recent heavy rains the roads were wet and dirty. I went on foot, first 700 m to the west, then 550 m to the north, then another 150 m again to the west. The northward path was in good condition, along which I saw a lot of heaps of forest brushwood. On the last stretch of the west, I met a cyclist (Rainer Mautz wrote that he couldn't ride there), the grass was low but it was dirty. It was 80 m to the north from the last path to the CP.

This last part of my way was the most difficult, since the density of trees is abnormally high, as can be seen in the photographs from the confluence point. The only alleviation was the presence of some sparseness in that super-dense grove (along direction west – east).
